Tipping Our Hat To You Brian
Since the day he was diagnosed, we have contacted so many of the local hospitals, each time telling us that without insurance there was nothing they would be able to do. As you can imagine, the frustration set in, and as a family we have done everything we can to try to get Brian treatment.
We have contacted every organization that you can think of. However, since Brian is a server, and didn’t have insurance when this bombshell was released upon him it has been very unsuccessful. He did apply and pay for insurance online, but come to find out it will not be active until March 1, 2017. In the meantime, no one will help him.
In January, he spent a week in Northwestern, they never even gave him a game plan, they just simply sent him home and basically said, "come back when you have insurance." After looking like he was going to faint, and a new avocado sized swelling in his neck, we took him to the ER. This morning they told him they will not help him without financial backing or insurance. Therefore, we are hoping to help him raise whatever funds these hospitals need to help him fight this horrible disease. Money means nothing when it comes to a human life!
Please, pass this around. He is our family. All of you that work in our industry know how close we all become and that it is important to help in this situation. So, every bit helps. If you or your company is willing to help, we are launching “Tipping Our Hat To You Brian”, in hopes everyone will help donate and help us keep our friend with us! If you are interested in donating items for raffle for upcoming events please contact me directly on my email at email@example.com or via phone @ 219-448-3850.
On Friday, February 17, 2017 we will be working with servers across Chicagoland to "Tipping Our Hat To You Brian", and ask that a portion of that days tips be gathered and donated to Brian! In addition, we will be hosting an event sometime this month and will keep everyone posted. Thank each of you, in advance for your help and support!
If you would like a copy of this flier, to hang up in your business please feel free to email me directly! We appreciate it in advance, and anytime we can repay the favor, please let us know!

You can now follow his medical updates online if you wish. However the link to donate on that site is not the same as on here that goes only to the website host so please don't donate through that link.
We are hoping he gets some much needed rest and maybe treatment
