Help Keep Thor's Hammer Home!

This is our boy Mjölnir (that's the name of Thor's hammer from Norse mythology and lately the Aveneger's movies), he's a 3 year old standard poodle that we've had since he was 8 weeks old.

On Friday night, Nov 13th, he began to vomit almost every hour on the hour from 6pm to 3am. We took him into the emergency animal hospital for treatment. Over the next few days we took him back many times to find out what was causing his stomach problems.  They eventually found he had a blockage in his intestines and had to perform surgery.  They removed a 4x4" piece of "carpet material" and a 2 foot long strip of fabric that was blocking his intestines and stomach. They also had to remove part of Mjölnir's damaged small intestines.

Our pup is still at the hospital recovering and the bills are beginning to pile up. It's getting hard to keep approving the treatments we know he needs in order to heal. We are asking for you to please help us pay some for some of the costs so we can get him the treatments he needs to make him well enough to come home. While we do have some pet insurance for him, it won't cover very much.

We miss him terribly. Our house is not a home without him here.   It's hard to put into words how grateful we are to anyone who donates! Our hearts are breaking without him here, and your generosity will help to heal not only Mjölnir's body, but our hearts as well.
