Hello,
My Name is Susan Sanders, but you can call me Mntdewmania! And the reason I want you to call me by that gamertag is becasue I'm a Gamer and a Youtuber. (A 50 year old Mom that's a gamer on Youtube! Who would have thunk it?!?)
Something happened to me on Youtube a few years ago that changed me profoundly and made me want to get involved once again in Charity work! I won't go into details here, but needless to say, I have now been into running my very own Charity Drives on My Youtube channel!! The first Charity I ran on my channel, we raised over $100 and over 500 cans of food for Homeless Shelters and Food Banks!
The cool thing is, everyone that donated, did their own #TinCanChallenge and donated the cans of food they raised, to their own local Food Banks!! And all becasue they met my #TinCanChallenge!! Here's all they had to do....
They played a game! And ever how they decided to score, that was the number of cans of food they donated! That simple. Then, they would contact me with the video they made and I posted links and kept up with 'tin can' totals on my #TinCanChallenge2000 Facebook page!! It was a HUGE success!!
But after the Charity event was over, I felt deflated somehow. It had felt Awesome rasing money for a Charity event that I had thought up and worked hard on!! And not only that, but instead of asking for money, I asked for actual things that people could donate right in their own cities, towns and neighborhoods! So I decided to do it again!!
I Try and run 4 different charites all throughout the year. ( I intend to run a different Charity every quarter)
But some ppl want to just donate money. That's wonderful!! But I want to be able to keep Our chairty money seperate from what folks donate to me personally for you Youtube channel, so I decided to do this!!
All money raised here will go to supporting whatever Charity I am running at the time on my Youtube Channel! https://www.youtube.com/user/Wildfirebird
I want to be able to get some better equipement and actual Vlogging cameras to be able to Vlog about the local places I talk about in My Charity Videos. I also want to be able to hold contests and give prizes to get more ppl involved!! I would love have some T-Shirts printed up to help spread the word! But this all takes money, and any extra I get goes to buy cans of food for whatever Charity I'm currantly running!
It would mean the world to me if you could help out. I know some people don't have time to play games for Charity or you don't have a youtube channel, so this way you can be part of the fun while still giving to a worthy cause; One where you will instantly be able to tell where each and every penny goes!!
