On Friday June 26th 2015 just two days after Mike Layman's 48th birthday, he lost his battle with T3-Cell Lymphoma and left behind his wife who is fighting her own battle with Multiple Sclerosis and their two beautiful children ages 9 and 12 years old.
Mike recently had a stem cell replacement in hopes to turn his battle around, but found out shortly before his last birthday, that the proceedure didn't take. His cancer spread out of control and the physical pain he endured was far too great for his body to take on.
Mike was a distric mananger for Sysco for 16 years and was passionate about his job and cared for the people he worked with. When not working, his time was spent with his family who he loved dearly.
If you are a cancer survivor, have a family member who is a cancer survivor, you have lost someone you love to cancer, know all too well how horrific going through treatment and life can be and the costs invloved in medical bills and overall family expenses that are depleted when battling this horrible disease.
In support of Mike's children Nicholas and Jenna, and his wife Linda, we are raising money for the life expenses surrounding this extremely difficult time for them. If you would like to contribute to help the family, any and all donations are welcome.
