Jonathan N Bertrand, Founder and CEO of the Global Touch Foundation, a organzation geared to promoting social media awarenss.
Jonathan was born in Orlando, FL. and was raised in Altamonte Springs, FL. He attended Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. His field of study was Marketing/Public Relations. Jonathan’s was born 12/18/94.
Jonathan attended Maynard Evans High School and graduated with the class of 2014. While attending high school Jonathan was bullied because he dressed for success which wasn’t well received amongst his peers. Eventually this image led to being bullied. Jonathan slipped into depression and became an introvert. After graduation he realized his calling was to help others in similar situations. In December 2012 he ran an anti-bullying campaign with Lexton Cage of Orlando, FL. Jonathan received Congressional recognition for his outstanding and valuable service to his community on December 11th of that same month.
In November of 2014 “The Social Networking Effect” What’s Your Story?” Movement was created. This movement is to generate awareness of the side effects social media plays in people’s lives. In December 2015 The Global Touch Foundation was formed. The foundation is a Non –Profit organization designed to promote 5 areas of study, they are EDUCATION, RESAERCH, MENTAL & PHYSICAL HEALTH AND POLICY.
Jonathan’s long term goal is to produce educational video’s to educate society of the Negative’s and Positives of Social Media. He has the passion and the genuine desire to help people through challenging personal situations. He also hopes to become a true humanitarian such as Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, Malcolm X and Bill Gates to name a few. Jonathan wants people to know that PEOPLE MATTER.

The NatCon Conference represents the largest gathering of mental health and addiction treatment providers in our industry and is a wonderful opportunity for you to speak with senior staff, administrators, clinical managers, researchers, policy makers, consumers, and board members of provider agencies. Some of the top speakers have been surgeon, writer, and public health researcher Atul Gawande, former Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Don Berwick, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, President Bill Clinton, former Director of the National Institute of Mental Health Tom Insel and Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse Nora Volkow.

6.Through The Social Networking Effect Campaign and raising $20,000+ using social media and 500+ shirt sales to fund the movement from December 13th 2014 to current date.
7. I have hosted 3 Seminars (Discussion Based) , Adding The National Council Of Behavioral Health in July 3-5th of 2017.
