Teddy is an 8-month old Shih Tzu puppy. Teddy was a gift from my recently deceased father to his partner of 38 years, Jerry Olivier. Teddy's purpose is to comfort Jerry in this time of mourning and beyond. Teddy is full of love and energy and brought a lot of joy to both my Dad and Jerry in Dad's last days.
On the day before my Dad's passing, Teddy had surgery and there were severe complications that have required hospitalization. As of this writing, Teddy is still in the hospital. The doctors have since determined that he has hemophilia, which is extremely rare for this type of dog.
Everyone who knows Jerry and my Dad knows how important this little dog is. He's a very special little guy. We need to keep him alive, and we need your help.
