Kim's Neurotherapy Fund

Donation protected

In February of this year, my wife Kim was diagnosed with hypoxic brain injury. Since then, she has been fighting back bravely and improving every week, but there’s still a long journey ahead. She’s at a turning point in her therapy, one that could make or break the next stage of recovery, and we need your help.

Her care currently costs more than $3000 per month. Before her injury, we had been putting money away to use as down payment on a home for us and our daughter. So far I’ve been dipping into those funds, and I feel the financial need mounting in the coming months. Lola needs her mother, and we’re going to do everything we can to make sure that happens.

A clinic near my parents’ home in Phoenix, Arizona, offers a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) protocol that has been shown to help in rare cases like hers. The cost we’ve been quoted is anywhere between $90 and $230 per treatment . . . as well as the minimum of $350 per week for in-home care and other daily needs. It takes an average of 60 treatments to achieve meaningful results.

We need to get Kim a medical transport to Phoenix from our home in San Antonio, and she needs to stay current on the regimen of nutrition, medications and nootropic supplements that has been working so far.

Thank you for reading. Please give if you’re able, share if you’re not. Your help could be the difference that brings a beloved wife, mother and daughter back to her family.

Kim, Lola and I thank you for your support.
