Team Richmond 14U Fundraiser

Dear Friends & Family,

Our Coach (Henderson) asked everyone on our team to create a list of important people in our lives.  I hope you don’t mind that I have included you.

I am requesting that you sponsor me with a donation. 

Here’s why:  We’re each trying to raise funds for our trip to the National AAU Basketball Championships in Florida this July.  The trip will be an awesome experience for us and our reward for recently qualifying in our state and regional tournaments.

We are young but we still understand how expensive everything is these days, especially when it comes to tournament fees and travel.  Times are especially challenging for club teams like ours because there is no school budget to tap into.  Instead, we need to operate solely on fees our families pay plus outside contributions.

Coach Henderson makes sure we all understand that ‘student’ comes first in ‘student-athlete’.  But we’re not just hard workers in class.  Although you can’t sink any baskets for Team Richmond, the confidence you express in us through your support will make a huge difference to my teammates and me.
