A young Alan Natachu and his family are battling Alan's winter 2016 diagnosis of stage III colon cancer. Radiation treatments and chemotherapy are already under way, and surgery is on the horizon.
Alan's immediate family includes a creative and loving wife (Amandalynn), a smart and rambunctious pre-teen son (Dmitri), a cute toddler capable of destroying a living room in record time (Astraea), and a horse of a family dog (Tusa).
Family and friends are rallying around #TeamNatachu in a number of ways to help with childcare, errands, meals, etc. More information is available via a closed Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/teamnatachu/ .
This Go Fund Me account was created to provide an alternative way for others near and far to help this grateful family during an unimaginably stressful time.
The goal of this campaign is raise $2,500 by the end of April 2016 to hire an every-other-week cleaning service for the Natachu/Jones family for as long as can be sustained. Doing so will provide a regular dose of cleanliness and sanity within their home, and free up the family's time to instead focus their collective energy on one another.
Only the Natachu/Jones family will be able to withdraw and use funds from this account. Any surplus funds may also be used to buffer other unexpected medical emergencies and family needs as they arise.
