Support Elliana's Cancer Journey

Donation protected
On a quiet evening in October, 2024, we rushed our 18 month old baby girl, Elliana, to the ER when she passed out at home one night. What we hoped and prayed was just teething, turned out to be much more serious, and we were immediately care flighted to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth.

After we care flighted in, we didn’t leave the hospital for 6 months as our sweet baby girl fought a very rare and aggressive type of Leukemia: AML.

Our close-knit family of 5 spent almost the entire school year in the hospital with our tiniest family member while she battled the cancer, and the tough chemotherapy regimen she was on. We spent Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Elliana’s 2nd birthday in the hospital, but we are so happy to report that Elliana was discharged from the hospital on 5/5/25 with a clean bill of health, and in Complete Remission!

Being in the hospital as long as we were brought with it some challenges. As local business owners, we had to shut our business down because we prioritized being present with our baby girl during the fight of her life, and for us, it was absolutely worth it, because we got to walk out of that hospital with our heads held high, knowing that we gave it our all and Elliana felt all our love around her the whole time! Now that we are out of the hospital, the hard work of rebuilding an entire body system and micro biome falls on us! Because of Elliana’s fragile system, we must detoxify everything in our lives to reduce the risk of relapse or toxic overload of her body that has already been through so much.

This GoFundMe is for our family to recoup some (or hopefully all!) of the debt we accrued while in the hospital for 6 months, as well as the healing and system rebuilding that needs to take place for Elliana that insurance won’t cover.

While we were in the hospital, the creative juices started flowing for her Daddy, and he wrote 5 inspiring, original songs, all about victory over hardship that he is sharing with the world. One song got professionally recorded in the Cook Children’s Recording Studio! Our journey after the hospital is consisting of traveling around, sharing our story and sharing this new, uplifting music to everyone we can!
