WHPW Challenger Team Disney Dream
The WHPW Challenger team was started in 2015 to give children with special needs the opportunity to play flag football. Our team is made up of boys with varying disabilities associated with their special needs. It is our mission to provide these incredible dudes with the opportunity to just be kids and enjoy some of the things in life that many take for granted.
In an effort to give our players a break from their doctors/therapists and other challenges, we are taking our Challenger team to Disneyworld to participate in the Pop Warner Super Bowl at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. We will be one of ONLY two special needs teams in the U.S. to participate and it is our hope that our participation this year helps inspire Pop Warner teams from across the country to create their very own Challenger’s!
We need your help to get our boy's to Disney! Our goal is to raise $50,000 by November 30th, 2016 to fully cover the cost of the trip for each of our amazing kids and a parent (including airfare, lodging, meals, park tickets).
100% of every dollar raised goes to support these children.
