Easy Stand Stander

We are raising funds to help with the purchase of an Easy Stand Stander for Taylor Simmons, daughter of Tracy and Joe Damario.  This support device has to be custom fitted for each user and is not covered by insurance.  Taylor suffered a spinal cord injury in 2016 and as a result is unable to walk. 

A little bit about Taylor: 

Taylor is a person living with Autism and a host of other medical issues.  Taylor's favorite things are car rides,  swimming, twirling beads, soft drinks and folding socks!  She has had numerous surgeries with the most recent surgery to remove bone growths on her hips and thighs due to the spinal cord injury.

Taylor is currently using this device in her physical therapy.  The Easy Stand Stander offers the following benefits to those living with a spinal cord injury:

-Lessen/manage the progression of scoliosis
-Strengthen cardiovascular system and build endurance
-Improve Circulation
-Reduce Swelling
-Improve bowel function and regularity
-Aid in kidney and bladder functions
-Improve/maintain range of motion
-Management of atrophy in the trunk and lower extremities
-Manage pressure (ulcers) through changing positions
-Improve strength to trunk and lower extremities
-Decrease joint/muscle contractures

The out of pocket expenses for Tracy and Joe Damario, have been enormous and we hope you will help Taylor by assisting with this mobility device.
