Our very best friend, Tammy Mitchell (Harrison), woke up in the early hours of April 15th to a raging fire that destroyed an entire half side of her home, with the remainder water and smoke damaged. Beach Haven Fire department, police, EMS workers and other first responders came together to help this family of volunteer fire fighters and police officers. Tammy, a single mother of 5, and bonus-mom to 1, has been faced with numerous challenges over the past couple years. Tammy has been a busy homemaker and attentive mother, fully supporting her children in school, sports, and helping others in need. Please help Tammy and her children recover and rebuild. I have known this long-time Beach Haven family for the past 30 years and they have consistently given to the community and others in need and now this single mom and her children need your help.
