Taking Robyn's Feet to UNCSA
Donation protected
I’m Robyn. I’m fifteen and I’ve been dancing at Foothills Dance Conservatory for roughly five years. I started when I was nine and have always enjoyed dancing and want to do it for Jesus Christ’s glory. I do ballet, modern/contemporary, and jazz. For six years I have been in the Nutcracker put on by Foothills Conservatory for the Performing Arts. I have been in roles going from an Angel and Party-scene girl, to Clara, to Snow, Flowers, and Marzipan. Ever since I’ve started dancing I have been attending the summer intensives put on by FDC, and as wonderful as it is, I would like to be able to improve more so that I can glorify God better. For this reason I auditioned for summer dance intensives at the North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) and SAB. I was accepted into UNCSA’s five-week contemporary dance program in Winston-Salem, NC. I have heard and I feel that it is a good school and I believe I would really be able to improve there, but frankly, I just don’t have the money. My parents and my grandparents don’t have the money either. My schedule is so busy that I don’t really have time to raise money or babysit. And after all, babysitting doesn’t raise that much money. So after hearing from a friend how gofundme.com would be a helpful place to check out and how a girl was able to go to Boston Ballet’s summer dance intensive through gofundme, I decided to raise money through donation. I want to go to this summer dance intensive to improve physically and technically so that I can dance for Christ alone!
I need the $315 deposit by March 14th and the rest by May 1st. I am so grateful for any help you can give because without it I won't be able to go. Thank you so much for your consideration.
