My name is Trung Bao. I'm a professional beatboxer/vocalist based in Portland, OR and originated from Hanoi, Vietnam. I’ve won a wildcard to go to Grand Beatbox Battle 2017 – the biggest annual international Beatbox event in the world.
I have been beatboxing for over 5 years now and beatbox is one of the biggest parts of my life. Having my own drum machine everywhere I go to be able to jump the crowd are by far ones of the best things that have ever come to my life.
I was in top 8 in a lot of international Beatbox competitions such as Beatbox Shootout 2015, Great North Beatbox Battle, Beatbox Shootout 2016, Asia Beatbox Championship. I was ranked 2nd in the American Beatbox Championship 2016 that happened in Brooklyn, NY last November and recently,
As mentioned, I’ve won a wildcard to go to Grand Beatbox Battle 2017 – the biggest annual international Beatbox event in the world.
This has been a great motivation for me. I’ve always been pushing myself to full potential and the recognition that I earned from everyone who watches me helps me push my potential even further!
Though, I’m currently a college student, therefore financial support will always be one of the greatest motivations for me to pursue my dream. Any donation will help me there and I deeply appreciate all the support from all of you guys. This money will go nowhere else but to my airplane ticket, and I will repay my supporters (check the reward section :D)
