Shipping container costs (Syria)

"We have reached our shipping container cost goals. Any additional money collected will be used to purchase more blankets for the Jan 29th shipment date.
Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know I've recently been working on collecting blankets, solar lamps, warm clothes and other essential items to send to the 85,000 Syrian refugee's caught in no mans land between Syria and Jordan (In conjunction with SCM https://www.facebook.com/salaamculturalmuseum/
in Seattle). These poor individuals don't even have the most basic essentials to protect themselves from the harsh winter. I sincerely and deeply appreciate your donations so far. It warms my heart and brings tears of gratitude to my eyes to see your generosity and to see the wonderful donation items arriving at my home.
Unfortunately, we have had a hic up and our funding source for the shipping container costs has fallen through at the last minute. We have lots items sitting and waiting to be shipped. I have a HUGE, personal request and favor to ask you....Could you please, please help me fund raise $3,000 in the next two weeks before Jan 25th 2017 to send items to these hurting souls. Every day we wait to provide warmth and essential supplies could mean the difference between life and death for an innocent child or baby.
Every single dollar counts, even a $10 or $20 donation is hugely, hugely important.
All of the previously sent containers of items have been received by SCM in Jordan and distributed, they are a trustworthy and reputable organization. Please see the website for pictures and stories.
