Spinal Surgery in Germany

Donation protected

Hey,

My good mate Craig has been suffering from severe back pain for over 10 years now. With 2 affected discs, it has restricted his life and activities more and more. I’ve never seen someone more determined and he has tried anything and everything he can possibly do to get back to his active self.

He has just been approved for a risky surgery in Germany, where there are the most experienced surgeons to have the 2 affected discs replaced with artificial M6 lumbar discs. On top of it being a risky surgical procedure, it will also be an expensive one. You can’t put a price on getting your body and life back, well apparently you can at $60,000 for the surgery plus travel expenses from Melbourne to Germany for Craig and his wife, Laura. I hate the idea of the financial strain for him to have this procedure on top of everything else he has and will be going through. He is 90% confrimed of doing this operation and if for some reason it doesnt go through, i can give full refunds through this site.

Craig is one of a kind, true blue genuine honest bloke. He has always looked out for others, and will always go the extra mile to help them out, not expecting anything in return.

Being the stubborn bloke he is, which has shown through with his unstoppable determination to improve his quality of life, he would hate the idea of asking anyone for help. I don’t want him to go through this on his own, and want to help in any way I can.

Any donations to help him pay for this surgery which will give him his life back would be very much appreciated. I've set up new bank account, so all donations will go directly to Craig.

Thanks in advance, help spread the word.

Update:

Few words from Craig after he found out about this fundraiser for him.

"So now that I have come to terms with everything that has happened over the last few days, I want to let everyone know that Laura and I are completely overwhelmed. I hate sympathy and I am stubborn(juzzy) and was going to get this done with minimal people knowing, But now that's it's out which has been great, here is my story.

I have been dealing with this issue for over 10 years and alot of the time felt alone due to getting to dead end after dead end with Australia's under qualified and out date surgeon's and medical system. Their approach was heavy pain killers, nerve blockers, steroids or back fusion, and give up everything I love to do. Due to being mis-diagnosed and mislead my lumbar spine has collapsed on itself, now affecting many parts of my life.

Most people who meet me have no idea that I have back issues and I have done everything to hide the pain. It is a massive decision to get someone to chop my spine up at 32 but have chosen Germany as even the top surgeons in Australia are fitting Artificial discs that Germany were fitting 20 years ago. I believe no matter what anyone is dealing with there is a answer out there, you just need to keep searching and you will find it.

I am still coming to terms with all the messages and support from people , some I haven't seen for years and some I haven't even meet. I can't thankyou all enough, just the messages alone have made me more determined and stronger to get through this. I can't wait to be back up and running pain free, I will keep you updated on my progress.

Thanks again,

Craig."
