INTRODUCTION
Ekimogun Games Festival & Awards® is an annual fiesta staged to identify, showcase and reward talents & individuals through a comprehensive program of sporting, cultural, entertainment & academic activities, that promotes the physical, educational & life skills necessary to prepare and empower youths for leadership and success in their personal lives and career paths. We believe this will promote (amongst others) peace and sustainable development among the citizenry, crime reduction & better neighborliness.
Ekimogun Games Festival & Awards 2016 promises to be bigger and better. This years’ edition which has the theme: “Consolidating Our Common Heritage” will feature games like Football, Athletics, Marathon Race, Table Tennis, Traditional Ayo & Draft Board Games. This year will see the introduction of Video Games, Scrabble, Chess, Table Soccer, Cooking Contest, as well as a Beauty Pageant in the search for the Most Beautiful Girl in Ondo Kingdom tagged “The Omidan Queen Edition”. We plan to expand the festival through the participation of Adeyemi College of Education and Wesley University in the competitions.

2016 Ekimogun Games Festival & Awards will hold from Monday, 14th to Friday, 18th November 2016 at both the Ondo Township Stadium and Adeyemi College of Education Sports Complex, Ondo, Ondo State
AWARDS & GALA NITE
The highlight of the event shall be the presentation of trophies, certificates and gift items to the winners & participating schools. Outside the traditional prize giving ceremony, some illustrious sons and daughters of Ondo Kingdom, who have contributed meaningfully to the development of Youths & Sports in Ondo Kingdom, will be honored with prestigious awards.
