REDISCOVERING AMERICA!!!
I am in need of raising some capital to turn my business/idea into a Non-Profit whereby I can get my idea on the road. And I mean literally on the road!!!!
I've been working on this project for a few years now. I've spent around $4,000 dollars during the last year trying to get the final phase of this project off the ground.
Rediscovering America is an idea I came up with a few years ago to create a live interactive reality show on the internet where I would promote tourism, history and education from a single platform while travelling around the U.S.A.
TOURISM
By visiting some major tourists areas, but along the way visit the small and little unknown outlying areas along the way and help promote tourism to their locations.
HISTORY
By visiting historical locations along the way, as well as promoting the history of locations visited. Thereby creating a more thorough knowledge of America's history.
EDUCATION
As I visit places across the country and present the history of various locations, school teachers would be able to visit on the internet and introduce their students to various historical locations around the country as they're covering that particular subject.
Imagine to be able to see the place where the U.S. Constitution was signed as you're learning about it, or in Boston while covering the Boston Tea Party or even Gettysburg during the Civil War.
INTERACTIVE
I have figured out a way via the use of current technology whereby the whole thing would be interactive.
Imagine the potential this would have for education!!!!
Teachers whose education plan covers the Consitution being able to log onto the internet and actually have a connection in someway there, whereby their students would not only be able to ask questions, but have them answered too while viewing a live video feed from the place where the U.S. Constitution was signed and that's just for starters. (American Revolution, Civil War, Kitty Hawk, San Francisco Quake, Johnstown Flood, etc.)
It wouldn't be just students and teachers. This would be everybody who's interested in watching world wide.
I tested this sytem out awhile back, and it works!!!
I went from Northeast El Paso, Texas to Hueco Tanks State Park. This was approximately an hours drive. During that time period I had 169 people join me as I drove along.
I had people from China, India, Russia and South America getting online with me and actually ask me questions and interact with me and it was all live.
I am looking at various grants to get the financing I need to do what I want to do with this idea of mine covering the three aspects of this show; Tourism, History, and Education.
The problem I'm having is that in order to apply for these grants you must be a Non-Profit entity at the least.
And there's the rub.
In order to acquire the financing I need, I need to acquire financing so as to create the Non-Profit, so that I can acquire the financing I need to get on the road.
I've basically gotten the RV up and running, acquired the technology to create a live interaction video feed.
I have also acquired a website of sorts. It's a basic version. I even acquired a second domain name which is more fitting toward the endeavor.

I have already acquired an employer identification number from the IRS for Rediscovering America as well as listed it with the State of Texas.
I am real close to getting this on the road and your help would be very appreciated.
