Stacey Lea Cox, a mother of 5, a daughter, a sister, a loving girlfriend, a friend to anyone in need, and "Aunt Stace Dawg" to many, passed away in her home, on her own terms at the young age of 43.
If you needed anything, she would be there with no questions asked. She kept to herself a lot of the time. Some would say she was shy or reserved and others knew her wild side. She made her fair share of mistakes, but she was aware of her faults. She felt this guilt deeply; too deeply to overcome it. Since battling addiction and mental health issues, her true being was taken from us years ago. We say that to shed light on the reality of these issues, with hope that others will know they do not have to stay in the dark. We can rejoice in the bounds of fond memories of who she was before she entered her downfall, and even who she became, because she truly did the best she could given the circumstances.
She was bright and brilliant; good at anything she tried (a self proclaimed expert, if you will). She loved reading books, listening to all music, sitting by the warmth of a fire or under the warmth of the sun, and being on the water, especially at the river. She loved having aloe plants and spider plants around the house and planting pansies and flowers outside. Her favorite release of all time was driving late at night with the music blaring, usually barefoot.
We want to pay our final respects to her unique personality and colorful life story by having a Celebration of Her Life gathering. Anyone who would like to attend to share memories of their good times with her is welcome to attend:
On Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 from 5-9PM at Whitetail Lodge in Marysville
Address: 30 Brubeck Circle Marysville, PA 17053
This GoFundMe request is due to her unexpected passing and to help the family cover costs of final expenses. Please contribute if you are able. Any amount is much appreciated since there were no prearrangements or resources.
