Early Friday morning, July 22nd I recieved horrible news, My familys house was on fire. The good news is that everyone is safe and unharmed. The house ended up being a total loss.
The fire is believed to have started some time Thursday evening. By the time my family woke the whole front of the house was completly engolfed. There was nothing they could do but get to saftey.
"Firefighters responded to 139 Gardner Road around 1:40 a.m. for a house fire. According to fire officials, crews from all four Vestal fire stations were called to the scene.

No injuries were reported. A fire investigation team was called to the scene to determine how the blaze started.

The house is believed to be a total loss, according to the fire department.

This is the home my grandfather raised his children, in turn my brother Christopher and wife Crystal Spangenberg have been raising their childen (Lakotta 16, Abby 12) in for the past 14 years. This is where the family gathered for holidays. This home was my familys safe place. My brother and sister-in law hold a strong part in our family. They are the glue that holds everyone together. They are our strength. It kills me to know that they are now without everything they worked SO HARD for. I can't even begin to explain how hard they work for what they had.
I am asking for the support of you to get them back on their feet. They are the type of people who wouldn't ask or expect a dime. And they won't, but I will. They deserve so much more then I can give, so I need your help. We are more then greatful for the wonderful love and support the community has shown us and will continue to show.
