Welcome to Camp Doom! Er, we mean Camp Freedom… SLASHED! THE MUSICAL is a killer musical comedy love-letter to the classic 80’s Summer Camp Slasher sub-genre. Featuring a cast of characters that you know and love — but with a twist — and original songs composed by Sean Keller performed to period 80’s style music loaded with synthesizer sounds, SLASHED! will have audiences laughing and screaming from beginning to very bloody end.

All of the money donated will be spent to cover the costs of mounting a completely original musical production set to premiere at Hollywood Fringe Festival 2017. This includes the rental costs of our venue -- The OMR Theatre at The Complex on Santa Monica Blvd right in the heart of Theatre Row! -- props, costumes, production design, special effects, a brand new mask for our brand new killer and even paying our incredibly talented actors for their time. Our fundraising efforts will also allow us to keep our ticket prices low when the curtain rises in June of 2017.

Our GoFundMe campaign may have just launched, but the team has been at work for almost six months now developing and writing SLASHED!, registering their production with Fringe, booking the venue, casting the show, designing the look of our all-new slasher killer, recording the music and everything in between.

At the end of the day, SLASHED! is a labor of love. The team set out to entertain the audience by paying tribute to a genre that we all know and love, and what better way to do it than in song?
