MAD Z Productions and Obolus Entertainment have joined forces to bring you "BOX": An anthology of seven chilling horror shorts strung together by a mysterious box that unleashes the nightmares of anyone that opens it. Designed to steal the breath from your lungs, curdle the blood in your veins and leave you on the edge of your seat.
Plot Outline
A mysterious box is delivered into the hands of seven different people and unleashes the darkest nightmares into their world dismantling their sanity and ultimately their souls.
Told through multiple narratives in the tradition of "Tales from the Crypt" and "Creepshow", "BOX" opens a world where nightmares come to life and destroy everything in their path.
Skin Deep is the first segment, a tale of Simone Breck, a gorgeous model, who learns a fateful lesson that sometimes beauty is only skin deep.
Skin Deep is written and directed by David Zagorski, who also serves as Executive Producer on BOX. Zagorski is compiling an extensive resume, having written and directed the award winning feature "Killing Brooke" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1808228/ and the remake of "The Devil's Nightmare" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2288081/.
"BOX" was created by Rocky Calsetta, who was the brains behind the successful Year of the Dead calendar series http://theyearofthedead.wix.com/yotd#
We are asking for $3,500 for this segment. The funds will go to pay the actors and crew for their hard work, as well as Makeup FX (which really come into play on this one!) and food to feed the talent.
