Sign the Show - documentary
Almost three years ago, when as the hip kids say, I got 'woke', I started a journey to highlight the challenges Deaf individuals face when trying to access live entertainment -- and they face a lot of them.
This documentary is to provide awareness, connection and hopefully the exact same access to entertainment for Deaf people as hearing people have had all along.
But I can't do this alone. I need your help.
I am thrilled to release Strong Brew Productions trailer for Sign the Show: Deaf Culture, Access & Entertainment in hopes of securing funding as I move into post-production, which includes editing, captioning, sound engineering, licensing, and so much more!
I need your contribution now, as editing begins in 2 weeks. Will you join me in this endeavor and take part in this dream of mine -- to provide equal and open access to Deaf individuals and to let comedy and music connect all cultures, no matter our background - Deaf or hearing?
With gratitude and love,
If you've watched it and been inspired or educated, I urge you to donate $1. No amount is too small and no amount is too large! Every dollar, and I really mean that, goes a long way in helping me fund my film.
I've poured my heart, spirit, and life savings into this project and now I'm asking for help. Will you help? Will you share? Will you donate? It truly takes a village. Please, be a part of my village.
With gratitude and love always,
We are a little over half way to the $10k mark. Please consider sharing with your wide circle of friends -- we cannot finish this documentary without your support!
With love, gratitude and cheers,
I'm almost at my first goal of $5k and would love to reach it by Friday, April 21st, which happens to be my birthday.
If you've already donated, please consider sharing with your friends, colleagues, family... every dollar gets me that much closer to a final cut of this film!
