Young Couple Battling Breast Cancer

Raising funds to help one of my best friends and his wife (Breanna and Zach Halley) Breanna was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer this year just weeks after celebrating her 25th birthday. Today (August 1st, 2016) is their one year wedding anniversary. She is currently taking chemo treatments to total 16 before they can do surgery sometime in November. Her treatments are once a week and are certainly taken a toll but her and Zach have remained positive. They are grounded firmly in their faith and trust in the doctors involved with her treatments but have several expenses that if softened would help them out tremendously. They are an amazing, hardworking couple that would be very appreciative of any help you could offer. Breanna is a high school teacher and coach from the MS gulf coast area. She coaches 3 sports, Cross country, Basketball, and Track/Field. She plans to teach and coach right up until her surgery date and return to work just as soon as she can after.Her husband Zach has been working for an offshore oilfield construction company but since her diagnosis he has been looking for work locally. Having a local job might allow him to be home each night and be off to take her to treatments and appointments. He is currently working with Bre's grandfather and has started taking online college classes to further his education and job opportunities.
Last year, I along with others helped raised money for a young boy with leukemia. The Fire Dept that I work full time for here in MS participated in No Shave November. We gathering sponsors to pay each firefighter to grow a mustache. It was just for the one month and most guys shaved them off after that month. But not me.... I have kept it going all year. I had the idea now to do the reverse and raise money to Shave It Off! Haha. (my wife is happy about that...) So anyways, to make this more fun. After we raise the money for a couple months for Breanna and Zach, I'll shave it off! I might participate in No Shave November again this year for another cause but I'll be clean shaven before Nov 1st!
