Shadow To Shine

Shadow2Shine is a home-grown initiative specialising in empowering the next generation to step out of their shadow and leading them to shine. In a time where the next generation feels there is no hope and opportunities.Shadow2Shine chooses to partner  with
 20/20Change  www.2020change.org/  a charity that offers kids and anyone above 16years of age  the chance to complete a graduation programme that teaches them life skills. Shadow2Shine then places these graduates into work experience positions for one week within companies that interest them enabling them to build up their CV with actual experience, providing work experience within London’s leading businesses to young people within deprived areas. The companies also will receive feedback and ideas from the young people allowing them an honest approach to changes and ideas as well. These two initiatives work together to change the mindset of the next generation and allows your donation to work straight away and not just go to administrative costs. So far, we have placed several mentees in companies such as the London Stock Exchange.The two initiaitives also highlight a social responsibility for all companies to ensure there is opportunities for the next generation who perhaps just do not have the tools to achieve their full potential.
