Service Dog for Silas
Let me take a moment to tell you about our dear little boy Silas. He was born 11 years ago on a charming Fall day, and none of us knew just how much we would fall in love with him when he arrived. Many would describe Silas as a loving, joyful and a tenderhearted child who desires for all around him to share in a smile. Silas can often be heard singing broken verses of "Jesus Loves Me", and praying with a smile.
You see, our sweet one suffers with Severe Epilepsy and mostly Non-Verbal Autism. Unfortunately, Silas is frequently plauged with seizures throughout his day, and as he gets older the risks of harm to himself have become greater. Imagine you are at the park enjoying a beautiful sunny day, and you look into a pond filled with vibrant colors when suddenly you are grasped by a powerful seizure that plunges you into the pond. There is no way you are able to escape the waters as your body will not listen in the midst of your seizing. Scary huh? This very incident is an event that has occurred in Silas' life, and continues to be one of many dangers a loving service dog could keep him from.
Your loving donation would not only provide Silas with a highly trained service dog that is attune to his special needs of Epilepsy and Autism, and trained to keep him safe in the community. This donation would be bringing new found safe freedom for Silas as he would be in constant companionship with his animal in the community. This dog would provide him confidence in public, medical safety with alerting others should he be about to seize, and assistance with his struggles pertaining to Autism. Thank you so much for giving this wonderful little boy a safe world!
Your donations would go towards the following:
* Service Dog Adoption Fee
* Service Dog Training by a Highly Skilled Professional
* Equipment for the dog such as a kennel, vest, leash, toys, food, etc.
* Veternarian Visits, Vaccinations and Medical Upkeep of the Service Dog
* And Much More!!!
Thank you again for your giving heart and God Bless!
Great news to share!!! We found our puppy! He is a very cute golden retriever we named Max. He has been training for a couple of months now and he has proved to be very intelligent and very living. He loves every person and every child he comes into contact with. We thank you all again for your help. We also need to continue to share our fund me page as we have not gotten to our goal and need to pay for Max's training and there are vet bills etc. Please help us by continuing to share our go fund me page.

I had a special needs daughter for 39 years who just passed away. In those years I have meant so many children and adults who have had service dogs. Also, I have seen on TV so many success stories of owners saved by their service dog....saved in sooo many ways. When I first heard that Shelly was trying to get one for Silas, my first thought was oh my gosh that is exactly what he needs. I am so excited for him. I hope that people will step up and help Shelly raise money for this dog. What a gift it will be to this special child! God will truly Bless you for helping one that is so special to Him. Shelly is a grandma raising her three grand babies. She is on a fixed income. I hope you can help Shelly get this dog for Silas. God Bless you!
I've known Silas since he was born. The challenges he faces everyday most will never know. This Service Dog would save his life and be a companion for him. He is a precious little guy. Please help him obtain this. He can't speak and so we have to speak up for him. Pastor Linda
Silas is such a loving little boy who likes to sing with gusto and has a million dollar smile. His amazing Nana, Shelly, is my dear friend, and Silas is like my own grandchild. The sacrifices she makes to raise him would fill this entire page. Without help from caring people, it would be impossible to purchase the specially trained service dog he needs to assist with his care and take some of the load off his Nana. Are you able to join us in making a donation to this very worthy cause? Together, we can do this. Thank you for your donation of any size.
Thank you so very much for helping us. May God Bless you a thousand times over for you help and loving kindness!!!
