We are a small community in northern New Hampshire that is being plagued by the rising Heroin Epidemic. Heroin is being abused by people of all ages, races and lifestyles. It could be the person homeless on the street or someone living in a classy neighborhood, it could be a child, a mother, a sister, a lawyer and it could be someone related to You or a friend. Don't ever say it can never happen to You or someone You know.
The mission of the North Country Serenity Center is to provide a safe location where peer recovery support services will be delivered. A place where the recovery community can organize, socialize, learn from each other and help others maintain and sustain their recovery. NCSC will utilize volunteers from the local community who have an understanding of the area and its citizens as well as the issues facing it.
The recovery center will have a Reception area, Common areas, Group training rooms, Computer stations and Library for research, 2 offices: one for the Senior Peer Service Coordinator and the other for additional staff. There will be a telephone call center with at least 3 phone lines fully staffed. It will also have a small kitchen area.
With Your kind and generous Tax Deductable donations We will be able to acquire a suitable location for the North Country Serenity Center and therfore provide a much needed service to a community under seige by the out of control Heroin Epidemic.
