My name is Matthew Grote, and I'm a member of the Diocese of Lafayette-In-Indiana. Right now, I am a choir drector, and voice teacher, but for the last six years I have been discerning a vocation to the priesthood and religious life! I am humbled, and excited, to announce that I have been accepted to the Dominican Order's Central Province of St. Albert the Great, for the novitiate beginning July 2017! However, I still have student loan debt standing in my way. I need at least $10,000.00 (preferably $11-12k) before the end of June, 2017 (preferably in early June for planning purposes), to meet my goal and get my loans to a reasonable number so that the Order can take on my debt while I study.
