Sebastian's new name!

Above is Sebastian on the right and his younger brother who just graduated the sixth grade.

So, if you don't know...Sebastian is my oldest son.  He is transgendered. Our dream for him is a simple one.  He wants to have his masculine name.  When he was born, we named our baby Sarah.  We didn't know that 13 years later, he would come out as being a transgendered boy..  

His 18 th birthday is coming soon and we had planned on legally changing his name to Sebastian.  Back when  he came out he asked me what I would have named him, had he been male at birth.  He blessed us the honor to rename him.  Over 4 years have gone by and now he ONLY goes by his masculine name ( except when legal name is required- school, doctors, etc, etc. )and it annoys him to no end that for legal papers he still has to sign with a girl name.  Little did I know how much it cost. 

We only get by on disability of little over $700 a month, so there's no way we can afford it on our own.  I made a comment on another YouTuber's channel and got over one hundred comments of support- so I thought I would as them to help his dream come true.

His is birthday is in November and we wanted to give him his name legally...but since have found that it costs $300 plus court costs, so I have a goal of $350 so he can at least be called Sebastian legally.  Texas won't change the gender marker, but at least he won't have to be called by his "dead name" anymore.
