Help Girl with CF Keep Her Dog

Aleeah has been through so much in her four years.  Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, she has multiple breathing treatments each day, each 15 minutes long.  She's endured chest infections, and third-degree burn on her chest when a stranger threw a lit firecracker at her.  Recently, her father was given full custody of Aleeah, and to help with her care, he moved in with his mother, bringing two dogs with him in addition to Aleeah.  Unfortunately, the City of Lakewood, Ohio has determined that one of the dogs, Scrappy, may be pit bull, a dog which is currently banned in the city.  

Scrappy is a wonderful, caring companion for Aleeah, and has never hurt anyone. He even comforts her while she endures her 15-minute breathing treatments twice a day.  He truly is her best friend.  Now because of an archaic breed specific legislation law (BSL), Aleeah may lose her best friend.  Please don't let that happen to Aleeah.  Scrappy's only crime is his breed.  

While we are fighting the breed specific legislation, the financial burden is getting very difficult for Aleeah's family to bear.  Legal fees are mounting, and the cost of Aleeah's treatments are expensive.  We are asking for your help in ending BSL.  Please consider contributing to this family's legal fees, as they are fighting to end BSL for all of us.
