Savor San Diego Season 4

Help us continue to share the fascinating stories of our San Diego food community and showcase local artisans, growers and producers by supporting another exciting season of Savor San Diego! We've had three great seasons and would love to bring you a fourth. Since our funding comes from local sponsorships and private donations, we rely heavily on the financial help of our show fans and food community enthusiasts.  We're getting close but still need some help. With your contributions we can reach our funding goal and get production of Season 4 underway.

About Savor San Diego
Savor San Diego is a weekly television program on KPBS with host Chef Su-Mei Yu that provides viewers with an entertaining look at our vibrant local food community.

Su-Mei, notable San Diego chef, restaurateur and cookbook author, uncovers San Diego’s hidden culinary treasures and demonstrates how they can be used to create delicious and healthful dishes.

Viewers join Su- Mei on this weekly program as she explores off-the-beaten path San Diego region centric growers, fisherman, vendors, products and all things food related in an effort to educate viewers on the multitude of wonderful resources we have available in our area.

During each episode she takes the audience on a fun and enlightening journey about a unique local food related item, place, organization and/or person. The illuminating adventure culminates with an easy-to-follow cooking demonstration by Chef Yu that includes ingredients from the episode.
