This fall I (Michael Versteeg) will set out on what I consider to be my ultimate test as an ultra runner.
Doing this, I hope to raise awareness for SaveTheConfluence.com

The Arizona Trail winds its way 800 miles from the border of Utah to the border of Mexico, traversing some of the best and most diverse scenery that any through trails in the world have to offer.
Growing up in Arizona, I have developed an exaggerated almost fantastical obsession with the southwest. I feel in some ways that this endeveor is made for me, and I look forward to the experience.
