Save Penny the Rescue Cat

Meet Penny she was a stray cat that was found with 2 surviving kittens early 2016. She was born with a deformity of the nose and a cleft lip. Penny is a fighter!!!! Despite odds being against her from the very start she is now nearly 1 and a half. She is a sweet kind girl with lots of love to give and deserves a chance at having a long loving normal life free of pain and suffering.  I have adopted her through a Rescue and their vet provided some dental work and attempted to close her cleft lip and the surgery failed.  Penny will need another extensive surgery to repair the opening between her nose and mouth. This area is very inflamed and needs to be closed with a graft for best prognosis.  She needs to see a dental specialist for this treatment as these cases are extremely rare and her current vet has never done a case like this before.  The Vet Dentist she needs to see charges $200 for the consultation and the surgery can cost anywhere from $1500-$4000  Any amount you are able to donate is worth something to me Penny and our family.  Any funds above what are needed for Penny's surgery will be donated back to The Ottawa Stray Cat Rescue.  Thank you for your shares and generous donations :) I would also like to let everyone know that when I adopted Penny I purchased pet insurance for her, as I have with our other cat. I make sure that I have the funds available to take care of any needs for them both. Unfortunately I was not expecting her to need a second surgery and the insurance will not cover any pre-existing conditions.  The costs are above and beyond what I am able to afford alone without all your generous help.
