Palindrome Robotics is a 4-H Club and a FIRST Robotics Team that is based out of Delaware in the Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend (MOT) area. It was founded in 2013, by Mr. Santesh Shah and a group of local high school students to spread the message of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). The program has had an amazing 4 years, and has built 4 amazing robots that have all won awards.
The program has members in grades 1 thru 12. They compete in the Jr. FIRST Lego League, the FIRST Lego League, and the FIRST Robotics Competition. The experience their members get out of being part of the program is priceless. Students learn teamwork, leadership, writing, building, programming, management, and real world skills that will mold them into young professional waiting to take on the world when they move on to college.
This past year, the program has run out of funds due to losing two major sponsors. The program is about to lose its workshop and is on the verge of being forced to shut down.
The students and mentors of the program have been working vigorously to raise funds to help them overcome this hurdle. Though their efforts have slowly started to help them, they have decided to reach out to the community for help.
Any donation that is given is completely tax deductible since the program is a Non-Profit Organization. Their Tax ID is 45-5577151.
Any donation amount will help the program overcome this hurdle and will help ensure local kids can continue to learn and apply real-world skills in the the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields along with leadership and communication skills to help them become future leaders in the world.
