Las Vegas Boxer Rescue has gone through a series of trails that continues to test our patience...
Set up by a gal who rescued a sweet sad faced boxer girl of the streets in Las Vegas,Nevada (702boxer-can be found on facebook)Las Vegas Boxer Club and Rescue. Went to the park and noticed her newly rescue dog played with other dogs but the boxer dog needed a fun, high energetic dog to play without match her energy level. The newly owner of the dog started posting ads on Craigslist posting a local community ad seeking other boxer dog owners that had boxers to meet at the dog park. On the drive to the park feeling anxious not knowing how many boxer dog lovers were going to show up to the park. When we arrived, no one showed ....... :( In just 15 minutes later a ton of boxers showed up. We must of seen 55 wiggle butts out there running around playing having the time of there life.... Smiles on all boxer owner faces......... It was great.... Finally my new rescue had went home exhausted (dose of her own medicine).....this became a daily routine as we went to all the dog parks in the valley, then economy hit!!!!
We we have witnessed our beloved boxer dog owners suffer a great deal, we had an overwhelming response on finding new replacement homes for the dogs. There was no rescue locally for the owner to turn too. The kill shelter was most owners choices unfortunately. Well I went on a mission in life to save the boxer dogs at my own expense to make sure that they didn't die. Through word of mouth in the local community, we as a group placed boxer dogs in breed knowledgable homes.
We would like to continue our efforts to maintain rescuing boxer dogs. Currently we are not only in the red with bills for the rescue but we no longer have a rescue location. Could you find it in your heart to help our rescue overcome our financial challenges.
$1700 utility bill
$11,000 vet bills
$400 boarding behind
$4400 first,last & deposit new rescue location
our vet bill is a bit high because during the crisis of emergency surgeries needed for our boxer dogs and we have assisted multiple local families overcome illness with their boxer dogs to help the dog stay at their beloved family residence.
We we unstartstand that you not always have the extra to give,if you can't we need the help sharing this fundraiser. $5,$10,$20 you can donate any amount we appreciate all dog lovers around the globe. Our struggle is very hard currently. We are confident in meeting our goal ; )
