Hello, my name is Sami and I am 12 years old.
When I was born, I was diagnosed with ASD and VSD which means I had 2 holes in my heart. Surgery was required to repair them at the age of 4 months. I gave my mommy and daddy a huge scare. After that, I was a late bloomer, I didn't crawl until about 16 months old & I didn't walk until almost age 2.
I am in middle school now and healthy, but have some difficulties in the math & english. This year was the 1st time I have actually made the honor roll with the help of some great teachers. So since my grades have improved, my mom decided that it was ok for me to try out for a sport of my choice. I chose Cheerleading.
Being as though I am not the most athletic of kids, it took alot of courage for me to let down my guard and give it a shot.
This spring, I tried out for the Cheer Eruption All-Stars here in Winchester and was granted a spot on their Travel Competition team. As I am sure you are aware these are tough economic times for everyone and I am humbly asking for your support.
We would like to invite you to support my efforts to help my dream of competing on this team, by asking you to donate.
Any donation no matter the size will be appreciated and will go directly to these fees.
