On August 5th at 7:45 pm our families personally witnessed this huge Natural Disaster in Lombok/Indonesia. The Epicentre was just 20km away from our home. Within 20 seconds a Paradise changed into a war zone alike scene. 90% of our staff, our local friends our community lost their homes. With the little they earn they saved money to build their small and simple house, all gone now.

are managing this campaign to support our staff with families and our/their communities.
With the funds we raise we will provide direct help with food, water, medicine, blankets and tents for our staff families and their communities . We formed a rescue team, delivering goods daily under our personal supervision.
The money we raise in our Offshore Account will be 1:1 paid to our Samba Mandiri Putra Indonesian Donation Account in local currency and goes right away into shopping required goods.
Like may others, our staff lost everything they worked and saved for
Not yet everybody has such a nice camp, many tarps and tents, pillows and blankets are still needed
Education resumes but not every child has the chance to study in such comfortable environment
The majority of students gets lessons without any roof
With your Donations we can change something, every day at one step. It will be a long road to go until Lombok recovers
We will make sure you Donation goes 1:1 to the people in Need
We decided to post only highlights from Lombok. We believe pictures cannot express how 80,000 destroyed homes and almost 1 million homeless people manage their daily life. Thanks to our Donors, yesterday 500 blankets been delivered. A very urgent needed supply, special for children and older people the life in the camps is getting a challenging. Yes, Lombok is a tropical Island but the nights getting cold with the winds streaming down from 3,720m high Mt. Rinjani
Sadly last night another scaring 6.9 Eartquake hit the region. People have been just starting to recover from the trauma and got confidence to clean up places and build some more tarp tents. Last nights impact brought us back to day 0 and people are scared to move. Good to see that our Samba Recorvery Station is still functional and able to resume food supplies this morning.
The system with supporting villages the needs of the day is running. Time to think one step ahead. Raining season will come soon and the simple tents will not withstand a heavy tropical rain. People will get wet, Childs and Elderly will get sick, sanitary hygiene will be getting worse. Strong tents or temporary houses. The right strategy is not yet clear. Any suggestion will help. We are in the Brainstorming mode.
With Donations coming in, our Samba/Princess Rescue Team getting more busy day and night for delivering goods to the villagers. Not an easy task. On fears of Tsunami many people hiding inside the mountains of North Lombok. Almost impossible to reach with a car. Offroad vehicles would be needed, but not available. We only can reach them by scooter.
