Support Undergraduate Research
The Society for Undergraduate Research on Emotion (SURE) is seeking funds to support undergraduate research presentations at national conferences. We are a group of undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) who strive to participate in and support undergraduate research on emotion.
Conducting research as an undergradaute and having the opportunity to present that research at regional and national conferences is critical for determining and evaluating long term career goals.
Please support our creative funding effort to raise money to conduct research and attend conferences. SURE is in the process of being recognized as a student organization at UNCC. Currently we are trying to raise money to send 9 undergraduates to the Society for Affective Science 2016 annual meeting. All 9 students are submitting research posters to present at the conference, so it will be an incredible learning experience if we are able to raise the money to go. We need money for conference registration, hotel rooms, and plane tickets. Please support undergradaute research by making a donation, big or small.
