Support for Hadlee Rose
Please support Anthony & Mariah as they care for their sweet Hadlee. Hadlee just turned two months old. She was taken to the hospital and there it was discovered that she has Dilated Cardiomyopathy.
Due to Hadlee not feeling well or eating well over the past week she was taken to the hospital and then sent home with possible dehydration, she was taken in again on Thursday night as she wasn't improving. At Gundersen Health it was discovered that she has Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Dilated Cardiomyopathy is very rare in infants and only occurs in approximately 12 children out of every million with about 1,000-5,000 new cases diagnosed each year. Her heart is enlarged with only about 5% functioning at this time. Hadlee was put on a ventilator to take stress off of her heart. She was transported to Mayo in Rochester Friday morning where we were told that she will need to stay for a month or more.
This will be a very long road for Anthony, Mariah, and sweet little Hadlee. Prayers for peace, healing, and comfort would be appreciated. There will be a lot of travelling, staying in Rochester, and other expenses that will arise during this time. If you feel lead to support them it would be so appreciated. If you would like to reach out and help out in any way please reach out to me. I will be coordinating things for Anthony & Mariah to help them focus on Hadlee.
I wanted to post an update to the go fund me page because this is a very big week for Hadlee. She received her donor heart on Wednesday and she is doing well, praise God!
We will also be hosting her benefit tomorrow Oct. 28th from 4-8PM at La Crosse Archery (1231 Oak Forest Dr, Onalaska, WI 54650)
We will have Big Boar BBQ as well as many items available to help support Hadlee and her family.
We have also partnered with Help Hope Live for this benefit, Hadlee's donation page will be live this evening and tomorrow - Donations made to Help Hope Live are tax deductible.
Thank you all for your continued support, prayers, and thoughts for Hadlee as well as Anthony and Mariah!
Hadlee is doing really well! She has been weaned off of her pain medications. She was offered a bottle twice yesterday and the second time she drank the whole thing in about two minutes, Anthony said. This is a huge step for her!
Anthony and Mariah are SO thankful to everyone who has donated and been praying for them. They would love to thank you all individually for the overwhelming support, but their focus is on Hadlee. Know that they are beyond thankful to have so many amazing people in their lives. They know many of you want to visit Hadlee and they ask at this time that there would be no visitors. The days are long and entertaining can be a lot. They also are being cautious as Hadlee's immune system is compromised, and if she were to get sick she would be unable to receive a transplant. They appreciate your support from afar and ask that you be understanding.
For those of you who haven't been on Hadlee's Caring Bridge, her Berlin Heart surgery went very well! Thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers. We continue to wait and pray for a heart to become available for her. Anthony and Mariah were able to move into the Ronald McDonald House this past week.
Please continue to pray for strength for Anthony and Mariah as they go forward day by day. If you would like to support them please reach out to me prior to contacting them. There is also a request for no visitors this week. This will allow them to rest and focus on Hadlee. <3
Anthony & Mariah met with the doctors yesterday. To give more time to prepare for the Berlin Heart the surgery has been moved to Thursday. They are having an educational class for all the nurses and doctors so that everyone is on the same page before the surgery due to this being something they do not do often.
Thank you to everyone for your support, prayers, and thoughts. It is so meaningful to know that so many care for Hadlee, Anthony, and Mariah. You are all such a blessing. I am overwhelmed by God's amazing provision, grace, love, comfort, and strength in this time.
