We want YOU to be a part of the progress and expansion of Shooting Sports in Australia and show that we will not be stopped from enjoying our Shooting sport and recreation.
This is the beautiful secluded rural setting for our range.
Who are we?
The Boorowa Shooting Range is an initiative of the Shooters Union of NSW Inc. under the banner of the South West Slopes Shooters sub committee.

Why are we Crowd Funding?
I have been working on this project since September of 2012 and have now reached the stage of approvals, both Council and Firearms Registry, that we need to seek financial assistance to progress.
Whilst club memberships have funded us so far, we now have major expenditure to overcome.
Where will your money go?
Earthworks will be the major cost at around $8,500+
A 40ft storage shipping container will cost $3,200.
A waterless composting toilet will cost us $1,900 delivered.
So $13,600 and we get to open the gate and start shooting.
There will be ongoing build costs. Things such as target frames (and as simple as the paper targets), weather and wind protection for participants, basic seating and so on.
While much of this may be donated in part, we must plan for the worst scenario.
How soon do we need the funds?
The sooner we can fund the construction phase, the sooner we can start shooting. The earthworks for the dirt mound, a dry composting toilet, the storage container, (which will house the toilet in a built in room) are the bare minimum to start shooting. Anything else just allows more comfort than shooting in the blazing sun, wind, or rain.
So, the sooner the better for NSW shooters.
You could, if you wish, commit to a regular, say monthly, contribution.
Why this means so much to us?
This is for the good of all NSW Shooters, and you can be a part of this. Having our own range gives us the opportunity to engage more beginners into the Shooting Sports. It shows the forward progress of Law Abiding Firearms Owners.
How thankful could we be?
Whilst we would love to give everybody free membership, it just isn't possible. But we may be able to offer various "rewards" for donations.
Whether you're a Target Shooter or a Hunter, you will be able to utilise the facilities of this Range for your shooting pleasure.
The range is expected to be 200 Yards with interim measurements of 25, 50 and 100 metres on a 7.62 NATO template (.308)
Pistol will include IPSC for calibers up to .45.
Black Powder Rifle and Pistol.
