On July 10th, 2017, Sergeant Talon Leach, Sergeant Joseph Murray, Sergeant Chad Jenson, Sergeant Dietrich Schmieman, Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Ryan Lohrey, Staff Sergeant Robert Cox, Staff Sergeant William Kundrat, from Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) passed away when their C-130 did not bring them safely to their destination…

Those who have experienced a grievous loss understand how critical it is to support each other.  Having personally been mentored, trained, and cared for by one of the seven men lost that day, and because of the tight-knit bond that MARSOC Operators have for each other, I am conducting a 140+ mile ruck to the highest peak in the Colorado Rockies on Aug 10th (SOF.REVERENCE Instagram) to honor what one of their family members wanted – to share all of their stories.  This GoFundMe has been started to support the families of the fallen by encouraging all who learn about these men during the multi-day movement to take a moment and revere the loss of such priceless individuals.  If you are unable to show your reverence for these men through your own unique actions but feel called to do something, please consider donating to the this cause and spreading the word to others so the stories of these men can be known.  If 400,001 people see this information and each donate $1, we will match what the military offers families for the loss of a single life.  It will never be enough, but with each dollar raised hopefully a new level of awareness will be raised revealing the reality and importance of human capital which will lead to the military valuing the men as much as the men value their country.

Refunds will be made as soon as Gofundme completes the withdrawals from the private/secured account that was created for the donations we received. This will be more proof that the funds were never touched and secured for the families.

Our Gofundme account is being closed, due to it being locked and scrutinized for not being a legitimate fundraiser. We would like to personally thank EVERYONE who took the time to read about the Mission, and understand the severity of this tragedy and how incredibly difficult times will be for the families that lost their loved ones.

We would like to let everyone know that this is not a complete end to the Mission, rather the end of having Gofundme as the portal we use for showing the amount of support we are collectively raising for the families. We will continue our Mission solo, without having a portal for outside donators. We will be posting our progress through our Instagram Page (SOF.REVERENCE) until our Mission is accomplished.

Please do not forget to share this story with those that are close to you, and if you have a SOF.REVERENCE shirt, and someone asks about it, please share the story and that we are still fighting to Support the families that lost their loved ones on July 10 2017.

Four months later and there is still no news to the families on what took their loved ones from them in a tragic C130 crash in Mississippi. We spent Christmas Eve/Day at the site where the tragedy happened, by ourselves, away from our loved ones. The reason we did this was to, once again, express our deepest condolences to the families through action. This was the first Christmas that they had to look at that empty chair, and because we are truly dedicated to providing genuine support to the families of the Fallen, we spent Christmas setting up a memorial to show that we are still at their side.

As embarrassing as this is, someone has reported our Mission to gofundme as not being legitimate, so we are forced to inform our Supporters, AGAIN, that the funds that are raised will being going to the families of the Fallen. If we are unable to connect with all of the families, at the end of the year, the funds will be put towards a memorial for the Fallen. If you have financially supported our Mission, we are truly grateful for you taking the time to read our Mission, and donating. If you do not want to Support this Mission, and you donated, please send me a private message and I will confirm your donation reference # and refund you your donation with no hard feelings. This information is being brought to you because, as we mentioned before, someone has reported our Mission and gofundme is requiring us to reiterate where the funds raised will be going. Also, the Mission was started by a single Critical Skills Operator that was mentored by one of the Fallen Raiders.
