Sadaqah Jaariyah
Water well in his name.
"When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: an ongoing Sadaqah; a knowledge (of Islam) from which others benefit; and a righteous child who makes dua for him." [Muslim and others]
A brief summary and insight into my uncles life:
My mama (uncle - mums ONLY brother) is a legend. We are so proud of him. An inspiration we all look upto. An unforgettable uncle and forever in our thoughts, hearts and duas. He was the most kind hearted, calm, patient person I've ever come across in my lifetime. He taught us well, cared for us and showed us unconditional love. He left behind a legacy, of whom many live to carry on. He left behind a beautiful family with whom by the will of Allah will be reunited in the hereafter. He has gone back to meet with his parents, back to his parents lap, which is the way my beautiful mum describes it, as she weeps, leaving her being the only one left behind. A beautiful small family they were.
My uncle achieved so much in his life, he also made a huge contribution towards helping others, we are so proud of him. He worked as part of Mukta Scouts Group, the founder of this group, general secretary and editor, in Habiganj Bangladesh, aswel as worked in the Courts - System of Justice, an accountant, in Habiganj. He was really a hardworking man. My uncle then had an early retirement, due to illnesses and poor health.
My uncles career, where he spent 40+ years, is where he received the utmost respect as a man of honesty, throughout the country of Bangladesh and Alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah) a turn out of thousands at his Janazah (funeral prayer), attended by MP'S, Mayor's and so on, and he was given the guard of honour.
My uncle for many years suffered from diabetes. Three years ago he had an accident which caused him injury to his legs and made him bed bound. After all the suffering, and numerous operations, today my uncle is no longer with us. Before then he was always known as a strong and extremely tall looking, handsome man. He was buried at our village family grave, called Kalainjura, Syed bari.
We miss our uncle, no words can describe. Oh Allah fill his grave with noor (light). Oh Allah forgive his sins and shortcomings and have mercy on him. Oh Allah protect him from the punishments of the grave and hellfire, and make his grave a garden from the gardens of jannah (paradise).
May Allah accept all of his good deeds and acts of worship. May Allah grant him the highest rank in Jannah (paradise). May Allah accept this and grant my uncle all the rewards for it in his akhirah (hereafter). May Allah pardon him for any trials in the grave. May Allah enter him into the sweetness of Jannah (paradise) and his final abode - be paradise. May Allah ease the pain of loss within our hearts. May Allah help ease the pain of those suffering around the world. May we be able to help the people by the will of Allah. May Allah grant them Sabr (patience) and live a long life. May Allah cure all those suffering with illnesses. May Allah reward Islamic Appeal and all other charities for their immense effort and great work to be able to help others around the world. May Allah accept all of our duas for our beloved Uncle. Ameen.
Verily, Allah knows best.
Every soul shall taste death. Quran 3:185.
