A Roof For Ruthie

"It's very important to tell your story" the gofundme page editor declared. I read that line and thought to
myself..."Oh, yes it is."
 
I want go home. Please help me do that.

I am Ruthie Rader, a 61-year-old woman with a story
that would fill a book. And that is exactly what I want
to do: Move into a place called "Home" and write a
story based on what has actually happened in my life.

For many years, I have hitchhiked throughout North America. I have met thousands of people and we interacted in many amazing ways.

Now, I use a walker and I am struggling with mounting health problems. But that isn't the main
reason why I want to move into permanent housing.

I have a talent for writing that I want to extend into a
full-blown novel. I already have a blog, "Ruthie In The
Sky" that I created on December 16, 2004. I am still
posting in it today. MY BLOG

Please help me raise enough money to move
into my own, permanent residence. I need enough
money to pay rent and deposits. I will also need to
furnish my home with everything from a mattress to a
microwave.

If I move into my own home then I will be able to
write my story (and who knows, maybe the story
will become a best-seller and segue into a screen
play) and become a positive, contributing member
of my community.

And then...I'll really be able to help somebody else.

It's rough being homeless during the winter months.
The time that I take just trying to get a shower, do
my laundry, organize transportation and stay warm could be put to so much better use!

The gofundme page editor also wants me to tell you
how thankful I will be. And that brings tears to my eyes.

If you help me go home, I promise that I will write a
story that will be worth every penny that you give me.
I promise to share a story with you that will be a real
blessing to read.
