Help the Calhoun family.

We found out on Tuesday May 24th that our 2 month old son Ruger has GSD (glycogen storage disease) Since birth he was not gaining any weight he actually lost weight, he had no energy and his blood sugar dropped critically. We still dont know a whole lot about it until the Dr comes back to talk to us at the end of this week but what we know so far is that he was born with a genetic disease called GSD which basically means he doesn't have the enzyme that stores sugar into the body so he has to eat every 3 hours and we have to check his blood sugar every 3 hours by poking him in the foot and collecting a little blood to test. We know that we will have to continue this when we go home and also Ruger will have to watch what he eats and drinks, there is a lot he will not be able to have due to this genetic disorder. If his blood sugar gets to low it could be fatal, this is definitely a life changing ordeal but we will do what we have to for our baby boy. We have been in the hospital with him since Tuesday May 24th. We are asking help for bills at home, medical bills that insurance does not cover, supplies we will need for Ruger when we are able to go home and for living expenses while in the hospital. This was very sudden. I am not working at the moment and wont be able to due to needing to watch over Ruger very closely so we only have 1 income in our household and thats ricky. The good job he did have has no more work so he got a part time job for now but doesnt get paid very much especially after having to pay for gas for the commute to and from austin every single day. We do not have any money at the moment and really need help if anyone is able please help if not PRAYERS are the most important thing we ask for.
