St. Rose's-North America Inc. is a non profit organization that was started by a group of ladies (alumni) of St. Rose’s Senior Secondary School living in the USA and Canada.
The mission of St. Rose’s North America Inc. is to uphold the legacy of St. Rose’s Senior Secondary School and provide a serene, safe environment, promote creativity, innovation, and education for all students at St. Rose’s Senior Secondary School. This organization, seeks to foster the growth of a new generation of female leaders who will transform their school, community, and the world at large.
St. Rose’s Senior Secondary School is an all-girls high school located in Akwatia; a small town in the Eastern Region of Ghana. It was founded by a group of Dominican sisters from Germany in November 1965.
Over the years, the school has produced several female professionals who have contributed to the school, their local communities and the world at large. Due to its excellence in academia, the enrollment at the school has significantly increased over the years which in turn has significantly impacted the state of the current infrastructure at the school.
In an attempt to solve some of the problems faced by the school, St.Rose's North America Inc., is renovating three classroom blocks which currently house over 1000 students. The project is estimated to cost $50,000. As a group we have raised $10,000 and completed the renovation of one classroom building. We need help in raising the remaining $40,000 .
We are therefore counting on all alumni, friends, donors and the general public to give to a noble cause.
No amount is too small or too big. Every little contribution will go a long way in helping us reach our goal.
