In request of Rori’s mother Shanan Dionne, this account has been set up with the intent of raising funds to aid in the costs associated with the untimely death of her beloved daughter.
Words cannot describe the emotions our family is going through right now with the sudden loss of our young beautiful Rori Chantel Hache. At just 18 years old Rori met a tragic end to her life at the hands of a monster. She has a strong family unit that loves her unconditionally and she will forever be in our hearts. With a beautiful bright smile and a heart of gold Rori was the kind of person who would help anyone and give you the shirt off her back. She had a love for animals and wanted to be a veternarian when she grew up. She loved music and being with friends. A bright student and and Army Cadet for a few years, Rori touched the lives of anyone who met her.
Rori went missing on August 27th, 2017 in the city of Oshawa, ON and we searched high & low with the support of a great community of strangers reaching across Canada. Unfortunately, our family received the devastating news on November 9th, 2017 that Rori was infact the remains found at the Oshawa Lake on Sept 11th, 2017. Our hearts are heavy and we are asking for support for Rori's funeral expenses and memorial service. Your support is very much appreciated and every penny raised will go to keeping Rori's memory alive. We plan to hold a vigil (TBD), a funeral/memorial service and raise funds to buy a bench at the Lake in honour of Rori Chantel Hache. Her name will never be forgotten and with your help and support we can make it happen.
