Linda Shaffer's Rockstar Recovery

As many of you know my mother, Linda Shaffer, suffered from a severe stroke on Feb 8th. She had to have life saving brain surgery on Feb 10th. She had a trach and feeding tube placed in her stomach on Feb 17th. She spent over 2 weeks in the hospital and now roughly 4 weeks in a Long Term Acute Care Facility. Her next step will eventally be physical therapy. The day to day costs are starting to add up. She will most likely need a wheel chair due to the lack of movement on her left side. We are still very hopeful but we are just trying to prepare for these unexpected costs.

My mother is a warrior and rockstar and we have high hopes for a stellar recovery.

She means so much to so many people and we are entirely blessed to have her defy the odds thusfar.

We appreciate all the love and support over the last 6 weeks and will continue to be thankful.
