The Ragged Breakout Album Project

Rob London & The Ragged are seeking support to produce and record our breakout album. The band has been together for less than two years and have already recorded two albums and toured western Canada twice. Recently we have acquired interest from a Toronto producer that will be able to put us on the map. It is my hope that you will see this as an opportunity to help make a our dreams come true but also be a part of creating a breaking band. Here is our story.
For twenty years I (Rob) have been playing and writing music, hoping for the big break. Two years ago I packed up my wife and young son, sold everything and moved from BC to Toronto in search of the dream. Andrew and Nick have both graduated from Sound engineering and music business respectively and have dedicated their lives to their art as well. Since a serendipitous meeting in a parking lot , we have put together Rob London & The Ragged. We have released two albums ourselves, toured western Canada twice, played dozens of shows and built a base from which to build a tower on.
About two months ago, we got that break! We have been getting great interest from a prominent producer here in Toronto who wants to record and produce an amazing album with us, find a label and create an incredible live show. All of this is great news... however, coming so shortly on the heals of our last tour, we are unable to fully fund the project. Thus, we turn to you - fans and friends, old and new.
Though the project will cost roughly $10,000, we are hoping to raise $5000 or as much as we can. This project will not only change all of our lives but I believe it will positively add to the Canadian musical landscape.
The truth is, we have been working toward this our whole lives and when an opportunity such as this comes along, you can't let it pass you by.
We hope to begin work almost immediately and have the first leg of this journey paid for by mid December. The funds raised will go directly to recording and production costs.
Obviously we are offering incentives in the form of music, signed albums, videos etc. But as no great feat is ever performed without the help of others, we will be over the moon greatful for any and all the help we receive.
