Rick: Need CoPay Help, knee surgery
Video on One Drive Today is May 9th, my 2nd follow up appointment with my knee surgeon. He's explained I will still need more time off work. Now 3 more weeks, totally 10 weeks all said an done. Perhaps more. I certainly won't be able to return to 25 hours nor 45+ in that time. I made an adjustment from my original goal of $600 to express the other part of need. I am going to have no money to pay some bills until my paycheck arrives. Those scheduled deductions from my account will create a problem, so I'm going to try a goal of $1000. I had saved to deal with this, but it's gone with the bills of May. I won't work until June 1st, at a reduced capacity, that will not cover my bills. The extra I just added to my goal won't either, but it will give me a sense of making an effort toward paying the June bills I've had for years. My wife does all the house, etc... bills, and they're a lot to cover so we have a family house, insurance, utilities and food. It's very hard to ask, you know? Tremendously difficult.
We have health insurance, but my wife's paycheck is stretched to the limit paying all the family bills. I've had just enough saved up for 2 months, and that's over. I won't be able to pay the copays for Physical Therapy after next Monday, May 15th. That is by the grace of my dear mother, who dug into her needs to help her son. I am now seeking others to consider chipping in, to spread this need. I hope it's Ok to ask, it feels difficult to ask.
I hope to be well this summer, and have new chances to play basketball and go biking with our 12, soon to be 13 year old son. If there's any amount you might consider, please do.
Bless you.
Sincerely,
Rick Nelson, Husband, Father, Son, Uncle, Freind.
